REVISED JHHNP SUCCEEDS AT REFERENDUM!

A majority (81.6%) of residents voted for Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan at the Referendum held on Thursday 24 November 2022 at Henley Town Hall (on turnout of 15.3%). The Plan was ‘made’ by South Oxfordshire District Council on 8 December 2022.

The Plan is therefore now part of the statutory development plan for South Oxfordshire and will be used alongside the district council’s own planning documents in determining planning applications in Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Area. This replaces the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan made on 14 April 2016.

Supporting documents provide context for the policies in the Plan and set out the actions the Group wishes to pursue over the Plan period. These include the Evidence Base Document and Conservation Area Management Plan.
